Tottenham booked their place in the FA Cup semi finals and William Hill make them 5/6 qualify at the expense of Chelsea (who are the same price) and 9/4 joint favourites of three (with Chelsea and Liverpool) to lift the trophy. The other semi final is an all Merseyside affair and Hills make Everton 6/4 to qualify for the final (Liverpool 1/2) and 7/2 outsiders to lift the trophy. It is 6/5 for a Merseyside team to lift the trophy and 8/13 for a London side to do so.

“With Sunderland and Bolton bowing out tonight, the FA Cup has become a tale of two cities and the odds suggest that London will come out on top,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Managerial Merry Go Round As England Look Set To Announce New Manager After Season

‘ARRY’S ENGLAND ODDS LENGTHENED AFTER DRUBBING AT EMIRATES

William Hill have lengthened their odds for Harry Redknapp to be appointed as the next permanent England manager from 4/11 to 4/9 after Spurs’ horror-show at Arsenal.’If Harry thinks the reaction to the Spurs’ fans and the media after that result is bad, he may also consider the effect a similar defeat by England might be greeted when and if he becomes boss of the national team’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
However, the Spurs’ result is good news for Arsene Wenger – a25/1 chance to get the England job – who is now odds-on still to be in charge at the Emirates on the first day of next season with Hills who make him 8/15 still to be there, 11/8 to be gone, while his star striker RVP is 5/6 to be there, 5/6 not to.

Pep Guardiola has been backed in from 50/1 to 10/1 third favourite to become the next England boss with William Hill. Despite the plunge in his odds, Harry Redknapp remains the 4/11 favourite to get the gig on a permanent basis.

“With Barcelona losing at the weekend and falling 10 points behind Real Madrid in La Liga, Guardiola could well be on his way from the Nou Camp,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly. “And there would be no England fan that would complain should the national side start playing like Barca.”

Carlos Tevez has now been backed in from 5/6 to 1/2 to play at any point during the season for Manchester City (6/4 not to). “Having originally been offered at 7/4, it has been pretty much one way traffic, with punters thinking that Tevez may be offered yet another chance by Roberto Mancini,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Thierry Henry scored a hat-trick for Arsenal against Inter Milan at the San Siro nine years ago and Hills offer 50/1 that he parts the Gooners having scored three goals on Wednesday. Alex Oxlade Chamberlain has been on top form over the course of the last few weeks and William Hill are offering 11/8 that he makes the Euro 2012 squad (8/15).
