Wigan Favourites For Bottom Spot After Wolves Golden Performance

Wolverhampton Wanderers have drifted from 4/5 to 2/1 for relegation with William Hill after they moved out of the relegation zone with victory against Blackpool, while their opponents, are 9/2. Wigan are the 9/4 favourites to finish bottom of the Premier League and 2/5 to get relegated after their defeat to Manchester United, who are 8/15 to win the league ahead of Arsenal at 15/8 and Chelsea at 20/1.

“Manchester United did not play particularly well today, but still managed to stick four past a hapless Wigan and things are looking bleak for them,” said Hills spokesman Joe Crilly.

Hills have been inundated with punters backing Arsenal to win the Quad. Hills are offering 100/1 that Arsenal bag the Carling Cup, FA Cup, Premier League and The Champions League and could now pay out a six figure sum if Wenger’s men do the business. “Our punters seem to be of the opinion that Arsene Wenger has been saving up all of their trophyless seasons in return for one big one.”

WILL OLD FIRM KICK OFF AGAIN?

William Hill have opened a book on how many red cards will be flourished in the two remaining ‘Old Firm’ games this season – and make NONE a 6/4 chance, with FOUR OR MORE a 9/1 outsider. ‘Given the reaction to the fiery scenes during Wednesday’s match it is reasonable to expect that both sides will be conscious that they need to be on their best behavior in the remaining two matches between them this season’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Sex Pistol Backing For Arsene Wenger!

**************************************WILLIAM HILL CARLING CUP SPECIALS****************************

RED HOT GUNNERS GET BACKING OF SEX PISTOLS!

SEX PISTOLS’ star, John ‘Johnny Rotten’ Lydon is backing red hot Carling Cup favourites Arsenal by staking a £500 bet on them to lift the trophy – with the potential £625 returns to be donated to the Holidays4Heroes charity. ‘The Sex Pistols permitted William Hill to use their hit record ‘Pretty Vacant’ in an ad campaign and the £500 bet
was part of the deal’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
ARSENAL will cost bookies millions if they win all four trophies they are still contesting, and William Hill have slashed their odds from a pre-season 1000/1 to 100/1 to score an unprecedented Quadruple. ‘After a trophy drought for several years Arsenal fans are convinced this is their year and we already face a seven figure payout which could ride to eight if they get trophy number one under their belt. Punters are betting up to £500 a time on them to win all four trophies’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe,

Manchester City 4/6 Favourites For Best Of British Crown

Liverpool host Sparta Prague in the Europa League on Thursday and William Hill make the Reds the 4/11 favourites to win the match, while Manchester City are 1/5 to defeat Aris Salonika at Eastlands. Rangers look like they could be heading out of the competition, with Sporting Lisbon 1/3 to win the tie. Hills are offering 9/2 that Rangers win and 9/4 that they qualify for the next round of the tournament, while they are 12/1 to win on the away goals rule. 6/1 is available for all three of the British sides to win their respective matches.

Manchester City are 4/6 to progress furthest of the three British sides left in the competition, with Liverpool 6/4 and Rangers 7/1. A Manchester City vs Liverpool Europa Final is offered at 14/1 with Hills.

“Manchester City and Liverpool should be confident of progressing and it seems like a straight shoot out between the two to earn the crown of ‘best of British’,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly. “Rangers are up against it in Portugal and it would appear that they will be taking their leave from the tournament after Thursday’s game.”

Torres Is 6/1 To Still Feel Blue In Five Games Time
Torres is now 6/1 with William Hill to fail to score in his next five games with Hills who make him 6/5 to get off the mark against Manchester United. Chelsea are now 5/4 to go furthest of the Premier League sides in the Champions League while Ancelotti is 5/6 to be manager on the first day of next season, 5/6 not to, with Hills. “Torres is desperate to open his account for his new side and there is no doubting that once he scores, the goals will start to flow…when that will be, however, is another question,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Following Spurs’ defeat to Blackpool William Hill are offering 5/4 that they finish in the top four and Harry Redknapp is 1/3 to still be at White Hart Lane by the end of the 2011/2012 season.
