Following news that the Premier League have ruled in favour of Charlie Adam over his contract dispute, William Hill have opened a book on where he will be playing after the January transfer window. He is odds-on at 2/7 to remain at Blackpool after the League announced that the breach was not sufficient for him to end his contract. However, should enough bridges have been burned between club and player, the odds suggest that Everton will be sniffing around at 7/2. Liverpool are priced at 9/1 to sign the player in January.

“There is no doubting that Adam has been the stand out player for Blackpool this season and should this contract dispute have damaged relations between club and player, there will be no lack of clubs lining up to take him away from Bloomfield Road,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Blackpool are 5/6 to be relegated this season and 2000/1 to win the league.
