Wenger’s Fab Tip

Arsene Wenger has come out and said that he is optimistic his two courted players, Samir Nasri and Cesc Fabregas will be staying at the Emirates next season. William Hill agree with Mr. Wenger with regards to Nasri, offering 8/11 that he is still at the club come the first game of next season, although Fabregas is 4/9 to have left for pastures new by then. Barcelona are the 1/4 favourites to capture Fab’s signature when he does leave, while Manchester City are 8/11 favourites to bag Samir Nasri.

“Wenger has, rather defiantly, come out and claimed that his two most prized assets are staying put and while we agree that Nasri looks likely to be staying for at least another season, the lure of Barcelona may be too much for Fabregas and Arsenal to resist for another season,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Scott Parker has been backed from 20/1 to 6/1 to join Chelsea with Hills who make Villa 13/8 favourites to be his next club.”Parker returning to Chelsea would be a big story, but we are not convinced it is anything like a done deal.”

Owen Hargreaves Fit For Football As Liverpool Revolution Continues…

Owen Hargreaves has put himself in the shop window via a series of fitness videos and William Hill are offering a market on which league he will be plying his trade in next season. They make the Premier League 2/1 favourite, while the Bundesliga is 7/2. Hills offer 4/1 that he plays in the MLS next season and 6/1 that he goes to La Liga.

“The irony of an Owen Hargreaves fitness video has not been lost on football fans but it is the managers around the world who matter and it looks as though he may well remain in the Premier League next season,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Kenny Dalglish’s ‘Buy English’ campaign seems a step closer to recruiting another body with Stuart Downing set to make the move to Anfield and Hills are offering 8/1 that between nine and 11 of Liverpool’s first starting XI of next season are English. Charlie Adam also appears set to join the Reds and Hills offer 11/10 that he scores more than Stephen Gerrard next season. Liverpool have also been cut slightly, from 11/1 to 10/1 to win the Premier League.

WHERE WILL TEVEZ GO NEXT?

WITH CARLOS TEVEZ said to be leaving Manchester City, William Hill have opened a book on where he will go next, and make a South American club 9/4 favourite to be his next port of call. ‘It is difficult to see Tevez earning the same kind of money in South America and it is odd how many times homesickness can apparently be cured by regular doses of cash, so we don’t think he is odds-on to return to his homeland.’ Said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Manchester City appear to have leapfrogged their local rivals in the hunt for Samir Nasri, ,with William Hill offering 4/7 that City is the Frenchman’s next permanent club. United are 11/8 while any other club is offered at 8/1.

“Having appeared to be Old Trafford bound, City appear to have usurped United for the signature of Nasri,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Lukaku And Falcao In But Cole On His Way? Latest Chelsea Moves

William Hill make Romelu Lukaku 4/6 to be at Stamford Bridge next season while Falcao has been cut from 7/4 to 5/4 to join Chelsea from Porto. But for all of the talk of Andre Villas-Boas bringing in players, Ashley Cole has started to make noises of moving to Spain with Real Madrid or Barcelona his preferred choices. Hills offer 4/1 that he moves to Real Madrid during the Summer transfer window and 6/1 that he joins Barcelona in the same time period. He is 7/2 to move to any Spanish side (1/6 not to).

Despite the new manager and the dearth of players set to come in, Hills offer 8/11 that Chelsea win no trophies this season. They are 5/4 to win one trophy and 13/2 to win two. They are 400/1 to win all four competitions they will be competing in. Chelsea are 9/4 to win the Premier League, 11/2 to win the FA Cup, 13/2 to win the League Cup and 8/1 to win the Champions League.

“Villas-Boas has been brought in to win trophies for theside and while he wants to bring new faces in, he will have to be careful of letting too many players go as well,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Michael’s G-owen Nowhere…125/1 For 2011/12 Golden Boot

Following the news that Michael Owen has put pen to paper on a new one year deal at Manchester United, William Hill are offering 7/4 that he scores less than two Premier League goals and 6/4 that he bags four or more. He is 125/1 to get next season’s golden boot and 20/1 to not play a single minute of Premier League football. He is 5/2 to start one or no Premier League games next season, while he is 9/4 to start six or more.

“In one of the more surprising football stories of the last few days, Owen has signed for another year at United, but Fergie obviously has a role for him and it will be interesting to see how he is utilised by United,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Michael Owen is 7/1 to make an appearance for England in a Euro 2012 Qualifier or Finals match.

Owen’s signature may be the clearest indication yet that Dimitar Berbatov will be heading for the exit and William Hill are now offering odds on where the mercurial Bulgarian will be plying his trade on the first game of next season. He is 11/4 to still be at Manchester United and 7/2 to be playing in the Bundesliga. He is 4/1 to be at Newcastle next season and the same price to be playing in Serie A. He is 25/1 to make the short trip to Eastlands to join United’s arch rivals.

Michael Owen Premier League Starts:
0-1 5/2
2-3 2/1
4-5 11/4
6 + 9/4

Total Michael Owen Premier League Goals
Under 2 7/4
2-3 7/4
4 or more 6/4

125/1 Michael Owen to win the golden boot
20/1 Not to play a single minute of Premier League football for Manchester United
7/1 Play in an England Euro 2012 Qualifier or Finals match

Where will Dimitar Berbatov be playing come the first game of next season: 11/4 Manchester United; 7/2 Bundesliga; 4/1 Newcastle; 4/1 Serie A; 7/1 Tottenham; 8/1 La Liga; 10/1 Sunderland; 16/1 Liverpool; 20/1 Chelsea; 25/1 Arsenal; 25/1 Manchester City

E V E N S Man City To Win In 90 Minutes

EVEN MONEY CITY – BUT GET UP EARLY!

WILLIAM HILL are offering a rival-beating EVEN money for Manchester City to beat Stoke in 90minutes this afternoon. Hills also offer 7/2 Stoke and 11/5 the draw, while City to win to nil in 90m is a 5/2 chance. ‘We’re taking City on big-time and at Even money for a 90minute win, don’t expect to see that price beaten – unlike our Odds Compilers, should that result come to pass!’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe. ‘We’ll be facing a seven figure hammering if City get the job done in 90minutes.’
HILLS MAKE CITY 2/5 TO LIFT THE TROPHY, WITH STOKE 2/1.

City Bring Home Bacon As Hills Regret Rasher Offers

Mancini triumph has Danish written all over it as:
CITY SLICKERS BRING HOME BACON TO LEAVE BOOKIES RUEING RASHER PRICES

WILLIAM HILL paid for their bold policy of offering the longest odds available for Manchester City to win the FA Cup Final in 90 minutes’ play. ‘We opened up at Even money in the morning and had to push the price out to 11/10 at one point as punters steamed into Stoke for a shock win’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe, ‘We were rewarded with over fifty four-figure bets for City in 90m, although of the tens of thousands of 90 minute bets, just over half were for Stoke.’Big bets for City came in from as far afield as Australia – where we took a ten thousand Aussie dollar bet for them – and Denmark – two, one, of 70,000 krone (over £8000) at 11/10 and another of 100,000k. It is fair to say we were made to pay for being top price – however, if one Manchester side caused us pain, another came to our rescue on the day, and United’s failure to beat Blackburn significantly helped to redress the balance over the afternoon.’
