Torres 2/1 To Walk…di Matteo 1/2 To Stay…you Bet Chelsea Set To Dominate England Squad

Fernando Torres is said to be assessing his options at Chelsea despite winning the Champions League and has made it clear that he is contemplating leaving should his role in the squad remain peripheral. William Hill think that he will still be a Chelsea player at the start of next season, offering 4/11 that he starts next season at Chelsea, although the 2/1 that he leaves is the shortest price on him exiting since he joined the club.

“Torres is reportedly far from happy at Chelsea ad has revealed he would be open to a transfer, but would there be any club willing to part with around £50 million to sign a misfiring striker?” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Roberto Di Matteo is reportedly being given serious consideration by the Chelsea hierarchy, but despite this and his masterminding of victory in the Champions League, he can still be backed at 1/2 with Hills to get the manager’s job on a permanent basis. Fabio Capello is 5/2 with Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho 8/1.

“Despite winning the trophy most coveted by Roman Abramovic, he still remains relatively backable at 1/2 and he finds himself uncertain of his future at Chelsea,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Roy Hodgson has stated that he wants Chelsea’s players to continue their Champions League form into the European Championships and Hills offer 2/1 that all four Chelsea players in the England squad start the first match against France. The favourite, however, is three of the four at 4/5. For none or one of those players to start is offered at 14/1.

Spurs missed out on Champions League football despite finishing fourth in the League and there could well be a exodus from White Hart Lane, with Luka Modric cut to leave the club from 6/5 to 5/6. Gareth Bale is the same price to have left the club with Van der Vaart 9/4 to leave.

Next permanent Chelsea manager: 1/2 Roberto Di Matteo; 5/2 Fabio Capello; 8/1 Pep Guardiola; 8/1 Jose Mourinho; 10/1 Harry Redknapp; 14/1 Laurent Blanc; 14/1 Rafa Benitez; 16/1 Joachim Low; 20/1 BAR

Players at Spurs on first day of next season:

Modric: 5/6 yes; 5/6 no
Bale: 5/6 yes; 5/6 no
Van der Vaart: 1/3 yes; 9/4 no

Fernando Torres still at Chelsea on the first day of next season: 4/11 yes; 2/1 no

Didier Drogba still at Chelsea on the first day of next season: 6/5 yes; 8/13 no

Frank Lampard to be at Chelsea on first day of next season: 1/6 yes; 7/2 no

Number of Chelsea players in England’s starting XI vs France: 14/1 none/one; 7/2 two; 4/5 three; 2/1 four

English side in Champions League Final 2012/13: 5/6 yes; 5/6 no

Blackpool Hit By Hammer Blow…irons Odds On To Stay Up

West Ham won the ‘Richest Game In English Football’ and earned themselves a place at the top table once again and William Hill now make The Hammers 8/11 to survive in the Premier League next season (Evens to go down). There always has to be one unlucky side in the Playoffs and Blackpool were that side on Saturday. Their fans should take heart however, as they are 5/1 to go up next season and 16/1 to win the league.

“West Ham are back where they feel they belong and it looks like their stay will be more than one season,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Blackpool 2012/13 Season: 16/1 Win the Championship;

West Ham 2012/13 season: 8/11 stay up; 1/1 relegated; 2000/1 win the League

Championship outright: 6/1 Leicester City; 8/1 Bolton Wanderers; 8/1 Wolves; 10/1 Birmingham; 11/1 Cardiff; 14/1 Brighton; 14/1 Leeds; 16/1 Blackburn; 16/1 Blackpool; 20/1 BAR

9/1 Hearts Scoop William Hill Scottish Cup…8/1 For Next Year

Hearts won the William Hill Scottish Cup, after defeating Hibernian 5-1. Hearts were the pre tournament third favourites at 9/1 and we well fancied at 6/5 to win the match in 90 minutes. Hills now make the 2012 winners 8/1 to win next year’s tournament while defeated finalists Hibs are 33/1.

“The turning point was the penalty, no doubt and Hibs were always looking to struggle from there, but Hearts remained professional and got the job done,” said Hill’s spokesman Tony Kenny.

Over the course of the sponsorship, Hills have taken the Scottish Cup all over Scotland visiting the length and breadth of the country from Coldstream to Wick in the first round before embarking on a tour that took in Alloa, Wigtown , Bladnoch, Stranraer, Peterhead, Edinburgh and many many more.

“It’s been a fantastic journey to this year’s Hampden with plenty of upsets along the way and we cannot wait for next year’s competition to start,” said Hill’s spokesman Tony Kenny.

Drogba Backed To Stay At Chelsea But Who Else Is Sniffing Around?

Didier Drogba may be out of contract at Chelsea, but William Hill do not think that necessarily mean that the talismanic striker will be leaving Stamford Bridge, offering Even money that he starts next season at the Blues. Barcelona have reportedly targeted Drogba and have said they would be willing to offer a two year contract to the player and they are the 2/1 second favourites to take the Ivorian for the start of next season. Hills also offer 5/1 that he signs for Real Madrid and the same price that he goes to PSG. Another option could be for him to join his former teammate, Nicolas Anelka in China and he is 6/1 to sign for a side over there, while Manchester City are 12/1.

“Despite his advancing years, Drogba is still coveted by the top teams around the world and should Chelsea fail to offer him what he wants, there will be no lack of suitors for him this summer,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Kenny Backed To Stay After Liverpool Bounce Back

Liverpool strolled to victory against Chelsea just days after defeat in the FA Cup Final and will somewhat appease the Liverpool fans after what has been a disappointing season. Kenny Dalglish may have bought himself some time and William Hill now make him 4/7 (from 5/6) that he is in charge of Liverpool come the first game of next season.

“Liverpool’s fans will rightly be disappointed with their side’s season, but a comprehensive victory against the Champions League finalists has bookended a torrid season and set fans thinking that Kenny may well be the man to lead them to glory in 2012/13,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Andy Carroll continued his recent fine form, with just a goal missing from his performance against Chelsea and Hills offer 5/6 that he is on the England plane for the Euros (5/6 he is not).

Chelsea’s capitulation means that they are out of the running for the top four and Hills are now betting on who will finish third and fouth in the league, with Arsenal 4/9 to finish in third and Tottenham 1/2 to finish in fourth.

Who will finish third: 4/9 Arsenal; 7/4 Tottenham; 33/1 Newcastle

Who will finish fourth: 1/2 Tottenham; 2/1 Arsenal; 7/1 Newcastle

Kenny Dalglish to still be in his current position on first day of 2012/13 Premiership season: 4/7 yes, 5/4 no

Andy Carroll to be in the final Euro 2012 England squad: 5/6 yes, 5/6 no
