101/1 For Team Gb Double Gold During Olympic Football

Brazil are the 15/8 favourites to win the men’s Olympic football although all eyes will be on Stuart Pearce’s men and William Hill make Team GB 5/1 for the gold medal. Spain are the 9/4 second favourites with Uruguay some way behind the three favourites at 9/1. In the women’s competition, Hills make USA the 11/4 favourites to win the gold medal with Brazil and current world champions, Japan, 3/1. Hope Powell’s ladies are 16/1 to win the gold medal. The double for both Team GB sides to grab gold pays 101/1 at Hills.

“Team GB are relative outsiders in both the men’s and women’s competition, but they do have experienced hands in charge and we are certainly expecting them to be well backed as the Olympics draw closer,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Chelsea 7/2 To Give Barca The Blues – Di Matteo 2/1 To Get Stamford Bridge Gig

Chelsea made it through to the Champions League semi final and William Hill make them 8/1 to win the tournament. The bad news for all Blues fans is that they have to face defending champions, Barcelona, in the semis and Hills are offering 7/4 that they manage just one goal over the two legs with ‘star’ striker Fernando Torres 2/7 to fail to find the net against the Catalan giants. Roberto Di Matteo has only tasted defeat once as Chelsea boss and he is 2/1 to get the manager’s position on a permanent basis.

Hills make Chelsea 7/2 to qualify for the final with Barcelona 1/6, while in the other semi final, Real Madrid are 1/2 to qualify for the final (Bayern are 6/4). The game that most neutrals would love to see is the Madrid/Barcelona final and Hills make that outcome 3/4 to happen.

“Barcelona have been favourites all the way through this year’s Champions League and we do not think our punters will desert the Catalans now ,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Frank Lampard scored the decisive second goal across the tie and Hills make him 6/4 to start England’s first Euro 2012 match.

1/16 Celtic Clinch The Title On Saturday

It’s been a long wait but it looks like the SPL
title will return to Celtic Park this weekend.
Celtic visit Rugby Park and only require a draw to
become Champions. Even if Celtic lose there
is still a chance the title will be theirs if Rangers
fail to win at St Mirren later that day. A defeat
for Celtic coupled with a Rangers win means they
they will need to wait another week and that’s a
7/1 chance

Celtic to Win the Title on Saturday 1/16
Celtic not to win the Title on Saturday 7/1

Rangers win at Fir Park last week puts them in
pole position to finish second in the SPL.

To Finish 2nd in SPL
Rangers 1/14
Motherwell 13/2

Hibernian have now opened a gap over Dunfermline
at the foot of the table and it leaves the Pars with
an uphill task to stay in the SPL.

To Finish Bottom of SPL
Hibernian 1/14
Dunfermline 13/2

Jon Daly currently tops the SPL goalscoring chart
and he aims to be the first non Old Firm player
to finish ahead of the pack since Tommy Coyne of
Motherwell in 1995.

‘plastic Brits’ Could Be Hits At London 2012

Delano Williams is set to become the latest overseas athlete to try their hand in a Team GB vest and William Hill are offering 8/11 that he competes for Team GB at the Olympics in the 200m. Should he qualify, however, Hills think he will struggle to make an impression, offering 7/2 he makes the final, 33/1 he wins a medal and 200/1 he wins gold.

“Delano Williams is definitely one for the future,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly. “He is not expected to make much of an impression on the field at this Games, but it may not stay that way for long.”

Other so-called ‘plastic Brits’ who will be competing are Yamile Aldama (5/1 for triple jump gold), Tiffany Porter (10/1 for 100m hurdles gold) and Shara Proctor (16/1 for long jump gold).

United 1/3 For The League and 4/1 To Do So By Seven Or More Points

Manchester United moved three points clear of Manchester City and William Hill make the Red Devils 1/3 to win the League, with City 9/4. Having moved three points clear, Hills are now offering a market on how many points they win the League by. They are 9/4 to fail to win the League and 11/2 to win the league on goal difference. They are 11/4 to win by one to three points and the same price to win by four to six points. They are 4/1 to win the League by seven or more points.

“United rode their luck a little bit against Fulham and that is the kind of thing they will have to do from time to time if they are to win the League,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly. “The difference between United and City at the moment is that neither side are playing vintage football, but United are still winning and that is tilting the balance in their favour.”

United had a number of players on the pitch tonight who will be hoping to be going to the Euros with England, with Rio Ferdinand one of many who had a solid game. He is 8/11 to be on the plane (Evens not to). Phil Jones is 1/3 to go, Smalling 8/11 and Danny Welbeck 1/5. Paul Scholes is 4/1 to make the squad after he came on to replace Wayne Rooney.

To make Euro 2012 squad

YES
Michael Carrick – 3/1 (2/9 no)
Chris Smalling – 8/11 (EVS no)
Ashley Young – 4/7 (5/4 no)
Danny Welbeck – 1/5 (10/3 no)
Phil Jones – 1/3 (9/4 no)
Rio Ferdinand – 8/11 (EVS no)
Tom Cleverley – 3/1 (2/9 no)
Paul Scholes – 4/1 (1/7 no)

How many points will Man Utd win the league by?

Super Goal Makes Crouchy 5/2 To Go To Euros…city Out To 6/4 For League Title

Manchester City moved to the top of the table although failed to get the victory that they would have wanted and William Hill make them 6/4 to win the Premier League. Despite a strong start to the season, Manchester City have gone off the boil and are in real danger of letting the chance of league victory slipping through their fingers. Should that happen, Mancini could well be on his way and William Hill offer 7/4 that he is no longer in charge of Manchester City come the start of next season (2/5 to still be there).

“If Mancini did not know the meaning of squeaky bum time, he will certainly be getting the message now, something that will not be lost on Sir Alex,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Peter Crouch scored a wonder goal preventing City from getting the win and he will be hopeful of getting a call up to the England squad for the Euros. William Hill make him 5/2 to get the call up (2/7 to be left at home).

Premier League Outright: 1/2 Manchester United; 6/4 Manchester City; 200/1 Arsenal; 500/1 Tottenham
