Di Matteo 11/4 For Permanent Gig…drogba 1/2 To Be More Prolific Than Torres

Chelsea arguably had the better of their game against Spurs, although they could not find a way through, despite finishing the match with both Torres and Drogba on the pitch. William Hill are offering 1/2 that Drogba scores more Premier League goals than Fernando Torres between now and the end of the season (6/4 vice versa).

Drogba’s future is uncertain with offers for his services coming from around the globe and William Hill agree, making him 5/6 to be at Chelsea on the first day of next season and the same price for him to have left by that time. Despite his poor recent form, Hills offer 4/11 that Torres is still at Chelsea come the first day of next season (2/1 that he has left).

Di Matteo has only been defeated once since taking over at Chelsea and William Hill are offering 11/4 that he becomes the next permanent Chelsea boss. Jose Mourinho is the 9/4 favourite with Pep Guardiola 7/2 third favourite.

Next Permanent Chelsea Manager: 9/4 Jose Mourinho; 11/4 Roberto Di Matteo; 7/2 Pep Guardiola; 8/1 Joachim Low; 8/1 Rafa Benitez; 10/1 David Moyes; 11/1 Fabio Capello; 12/1 BAR

Who will score more before now and the end of the season: 1/2 Drogba; 6/4 Torres

Will Drogba still be at Chelsea at the start of next season: 5/6 yes; 5/6 no

Will Torres still be at Chelsea at the start of next season: 4/11 yes; 2/1 no

Tottenham Shop Destroyed By Riots Re-opened By Spurs Legend

Pat Jennings was at the official re-opening of William Hill’s Tottenham branch that was gutted during the August riots on 6/8/11. The burning carcass of the shop on Tottenham High Road was one of the iconic and enduring images of the riots last year and after £350,000 investment and six months hard work, the doors were opened by the former Spurs player.

Also present at the ceremony were the two members of staff, Sean Biquette and Owen McKenzie, who were working on the night and who guided customers to safety through the back of the shop when the premises came under attack.

As the official betting partner of the FA Cup, William Hill also had the trophy on site so that customers and staff could have their photo taken with it.

“It is wonderful to see things get back to normal on Tottenham High Street. What happened during the riots was terrible but the aftermath has really drawn the community together,” said Pat Jennings. “Let’s not forget about Sean and Owen as well. They have to be commended for their bravery on the night the shop was attacked.”

“The old shop was a great place for people to get together and meet their friends and now they can do it in style as the new shop looks absolutely fantastic,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Spurs are William Hill’s 3/1 third favourites to win the trophy, with their quarter final opponents, Bolton 33/1.
