ENGLAND WORLD CUP ODDS LENGTHENED OVER RIO AND JAMES INJURY SCARE
WITH England hit by injury scares over Rio Ferdinand and David James, William Hill have lenghtened England’s World Cup odds from 13/2 to 7/1. ‘There are a number of players in the squad with current or recent injury problems, so we are happy to take England on, even though as we get closer to kick off time we expect to see a huge patriotic gamble.’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.’In total there will be over one billion pounds gambled on the World Cup- a record amount.’
