Laurent Blanc has been cut from 12/1 to 7/1 to become the next Chelsea boss after various news reports indicating that Roman Abrahmovic is desperate to land the Frenchman as AVBs permanent replacement. Managerial Merry Go Round As England Look Set To Announce New Manager After Season
Liverpool, Everton, Chelsea and Tottenham are the four teams contesting the FA Cup semi finals but despite their relative successes in that competition, William Hill offer 6/4 that two of the four managers in charge (Redknapp, Di Matteo, Moyes, Dalglish) will have left their clubs by the start of next season. Harry Redknapp is one of those managers and he is 1/4 favourite to become the next England manager, with Roy Hodgson 4/1, Stuart Pearce 6/1 and Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola both 12/1. Despite a strong start to the season, Manchester City have gone off the boil and are in real danger of letting the chance of league victory slipping through their fingers. It was a busy day at the bottom of the Premier League table as both Bolton and Wigan pulled off victories. Despite their shock victory at Anfield, William Hill make Wigan 1/4 to be relegated come the end of the season, the same price as QPR. Another defeat for Terry Connor left Wolves adrift at the foot of the table and 1/7 with Hills for the drop. Boltons victory moved them up into 17th and they are 11/8 to go down with Blackburn 9/4. Hills think that the current bottom three are doomed, offering 10/11 that they are the three who are relegated. Liverpools home defeat to Wigan and their second consecutive defeat to bottom three opposition has left Kenny Dalglish 5/2 to no longer be in charge of Liverpool come the start of next season (2/7 to still be there).
The victories for Wigan and Bolton have certainly condensed things at the bottom of the table and while there are only a couple of points separating Wolves and Blackburn, we think Terry Connors men are teetering on the brink and they may just rag QPR and Wigan with them, said Hills spokesman Joe Crilly.
Arsenals comfortable victory left them in pole position to grab third spot in the Premier League and William Hill make them 4/7 to finish as the top London club. Spurs are currently suffering a dismal run of form and they are 6/4 while Chelsea are 10/1.
